SAP SuccessFactors 2019 Quarterly Release Schedule

The SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite is updated on a quarterly release schedule. Every three months, SuccessFactors sends out a preview release, which gives customers around four weeks to test and adopt new features before the official update—called the production release—goes live across all data centers.

The first preview release of 2019 is coming on March 8, with the rest of the releases as follows:

Our certified consultants also provide in-depth release analysis, such as this deep-dive into the most important SuccessFactors Employee Central updates for customers in Q4 2018.

For the more visually inclined, SuccessFactors product lead Amy Wilson highlights important updates each quarter in video form. Here is an example from the last release:

Quarterly updates are an advantage of cloud software like SuccessFactors, but they also bring about new features that may require change management. It’s certainly worth it, as the customer ends up with the latest in HCM capability with far less effort than the on-premise world, but it does require some effort in managing releases.

That’s where companies like Rizing HCM can help. We provide SuccessFactors support and sustainment services that assist customers in managing and adopting those quarterly updates in order to take full advantage of the frequent innovation that cloud software offers.
